Place somewhere in your house where the plant will get as much bright light as possible, such as a south or southwest facing window. When the weather warms up, you can move plants outdoors during the growing season to give them access to natural light.
Soil should remain moist, without ever becoming waterlogged. It is better to do infrequent deep waterings rather than frequent shallow waterings. Let the soil dry to a couple of inches deep, and then water thoroughly until water seeps out of the drainage holes in the bottom of your pot.
